Claire Houston - Massage Therapist
Claire is a licensed massage therapist in Georgia and a graduate from Healing Spirits Massage Therapy School in Boulder, CO. She is trained in Integrative Massage therapy, which integrates various techniques to release unwanted patterns and tension stored in the body, restoring balance and alleviating pain.
Claire’s style combines myofascial release, Swedish, deep tissue, assisted stretching, Erik Dalton’s myoskeletal alignment, and cupping therapies. She believes it is important to establish trust and openness with her clients to make the massage a beneficial experience for both body and mind. Every person is unique, and Claire comes to each therapy session with an open heart and mind so she may use her knowledge and abilities to provide a unique therapeutic experience.
Claire’s passion for massage therapy and exercise comes from her experience of healing through bodywork and movement. In addition to massage, she is a certified yoga teacher, RYT 200 hr (trained under Joe Palese), and likes to combine her knowledge of yoga and massage to help her clients. When she is not working, Claire enjoys spending time with her two kids and her dog, working in her yard, reading about bodywork, and any activity that keeps her body moving.
