The Refresh and Renew Facial
The Refresh and Renew Facial is a gentle yet effective treatment for any skin type and condition.
Our skincare specialist, Susan Gonzalez, will use natural and healthy skincare products to gently exfoliate the skin, removing any dead skin cells and revealing a fresh look and feel, while special techniques like gua sha, aromatherapy, and grounding touch help you to relax and restore.
This facial includes a shoulder, arm, and hand massage. Please inform the esthetician of any allergies or sensitivities you might have.
Sculptural Facial Lift & Release
The face shows emotions, and trapped and unresolved emotions are stored there as well. The specific movements of the Lift and Release are designed to open the face and shift things, allowing stuck emotions to be released resulting in a more open and lifted face, lifted brows, sculpted jaw and cheeks, a softer mouth, and more.
The Sculptural Facial Lift and Release is a systematic manipulation of all 42 muscles of the face as well as the facial tendons, lymph, nerves, blood flow, fascia, and bone sutures. The service also includes a buccal massage, which can help with clenching and TMJ issues, arm and hand massage, and a calming mask.
Clients experience a deep state of relaxation, which allows for movement of emotion on many levels. People describe this as a unique and profound experience!
There are some conditions, like recent dental work and neck injuries, where this service cannot be performed.
Please take a look at the list of contraindications and contact us if any of these apply:
Recent dental work in the past 3 weeks (does not include cleaning)
Recent botox or fillers in the past 3 weeks
Any sores, e.g. canker sores in the mouth
Bleeding gums
Pregnant or nursing mothers
Any injuries to the face (cuts, bruises, etc.)
Active acne (if you’re not sure about this, please reach out for clarification)
Treatment for cancer
Any active infection
Cold sores
Active thyroid disease
Swollen lymph nodes
Rosacea
Sunburn
Allergy to shea butter
Braces or a removable bridge in the mouth
Lip or eyebrow piercing that cannot be removed (nose/septum is fine)
Facial hair (cis men should perform a very close shave immediately prior to the appointment)
Meet our skincare specialist, Susan Gonzalez
Susan is a licensed esthetician with a nursing background, and she has been taking care of people since 1988.
She became interested in holistic and alternative healing when she was undergoing treatment for stage lll cancer in 2005, and has been studying and practicing the mind, body, spirit relationship for health and wellness ever since.
Susan’s approach to giving services is one of facial rejuvenation done with compassion and care.
Susan provides facial services (by popular request from our clients!) on Mondays, and we hope to grow her offering if it proves to be popular. Give her a try!
