Juana Farfán
Juana Farfán is a dance educator and independent artist/choreographer. She earned her B.A. in Modern Dance Performance from the University of South Florida and is certified in Dance Education, Grounded Kids Yoga, and Brain-Compatible Dance Education from Anne Green Gilbert. She is completing her graduate certification in Arts in Public Health at the University of Florida's Center for Arts in Medicine. Throughout her ten years at The Galloway School, Juana made a significant impact by establishing the Creative Movement Program in Early Learning. She recently traveled to the Amazon to implement a pilot program focused on creative movement and mindfulness for Indigenous communities in Brazil and Perú. Juana has also served as a guest teacher in her hometown of Bogotá, Colombia, in an arts residency concentrating on arts curriculum integration. Her teaching experience spans various outreach programs and schools across Metro Atlanta.
