Connect, have fun, and feel great!
This workshop is a guided introduction to the art of Thai Yoga Bodywork, a practice inspired by traditional Thai Massage.
You'll be led step by step through simple techniques designed to bring ease, release tension, increase mobility, and invite in deep relaxation. Grab a friend, partner, or any loved one to share in this incredible experience that nurtures both body and spirit.
Jenn will guide you through a series of accessible techniques-assisted stretches, mindful compression, and pressure point work-done lying down and seated. No prior experience in yoga nor massage needed-just a willingness to give, receive, and enjoy.
During the workshop, you'll explore postures in seated, lying-on-your-back, kneeling, and possibly squatting positions. If you are pregnant, working with an injury, or have concerns about mobility, please reach out in advance so we can be prepared to offer suggestions.
Props provided, though you're welcome to bring your own yoga mats, pillows, bolsters, or blankets. Wear comfortable clothing you can move in, and consider dressing in layers -your body will warm up while giving the work and cool down as you receive it.
We recommend having someone you will be partnering with, as we may not be able to accommodate single individuals in this particular workshop. If you're interested but in need of a partner, send us an email at hello@theintownretreat.com and we'll see if we can pair you up!
Jenn has been a certified Thai Yoga Bodywork practitioner since 2013, with numerous trainings under William Hufschmidt, Paul Fowler, and Michael Sitzer as well as his teachers Master Pichest and his son Aon Boonthumme in Thailand.
